At times when homework has not been recorded, or you’d like additional learning, please choose from the tasks available below:


Homework will be set by the classroom teacher in line with the published homework timetable and the particular scheme of work that they are studying.

In addition, on a weekly basis, Year 11 students should re-read the GCSE set texts:  ‘An Inspector Calls’ and ‘Of Mice and Men’. They should also visit BBC bitesize regularly to test their knowledge of these texts. Year 11 students should also re-read and research the poetry in their GCSE Anthology.

For Law in both Year 10 and 11 - homework set is to revise the units of work being studied in preparation for end of unit tests.

The examination board web site:  will allow students to access past exam papers and mark schemes. These can also be obtained from the class teacher. Another useful website is // which will enable students to revise European Law.

App Inventor – Allows students to create android apps on the Internet and download to either an android device or an emulator that acts like a phone on your computer. Students will need to create or use an existing Google account to access App Inventor.

Code Academy – Allows students to learn and practice many computing techniques such as web development and programming in Java. The website covers many areas including Java, Python, command line, HTML and many more. Create an account using the link below and choose an area of computing that is interesting to you!

Wix – Create free websites, using many templates that are provided and fully editable. Students can easily create a professional looking website of their own.



Year 11 Child Development

Students have coursework deadlines to meet and homework should be used to complete or upgrade any sections.

Child Study – HAND IN DATES = Tuesday 22nd March or Friday 1st April.

Three short tasks – UPGRADE HAND IN DATES = Tuesday 5th April or Tuesday 12th April.

Revision question packs have been made for the students to practice the external examination questions, these will be handed out to students in lessons and once completed should be handed to Mrs hames-Sharp for marking and feedback.
